Meet the Winemaker Wine Tasting Dinner

Join us for this fantastic ‘Meet the Winemaker’ wine tasting dinner with Pablo De Simón from Valserrano, Bodegas de La Marquesa winery when you will gain insights into the wonderful world of Rioja wines by one of their leading producers.
The plots of this long established family Bodega are all situated within the boundaries of Villabuena, a short distance from the wine cellar, on sun-kissed slopes in Rioja Alavesa. Valserrano is rapidly growing a reputation as one of Rioja’s best producers with many of the wines scoring over 90 points from world renowned wine critics.
Fifth-generation family member Pablo De Simón will introduce us to the fantastic history and wines of his family's winery and will be guiding us through a tasting of five Valserrano wines, with the wines matched by Sammy's five course tasting menu.
We will be tasting the following fabulous Valserrano wines:
Rioja Blanco Barrica 2023
Rioja Crianza 2020
Rioja Reserva 2016
Rioja Gran Reserva 2017
Rioja Blanco Gran Reserva 2019
This is also a great opportunity to stock up on some fabulous Rioja wines to take away and enjoy during chilly autumn evenings and at Christmas!
Tickets for this unique wine tasting dinner are £80 each which can be purchased in house, by bank card on the telephone or by bank transfer.
