Sammy's
Sammy’s was established in February 2025 by the team who worked together for many years as The yellow house restaurant to continue providing the same high quality food and friendly service expected at The yellow house located in Surrey Quays/Canada Water London SE16.
Sammy's menu includes familiar French bistro style dishes prepared and cooked using top qualty ingredients and classic culinary techniques, with occassional 'fusion' influences, as well as the popular pizza and pasta menus inherited from The yellow house restaurant.




Following training at culinary school in Paris, Samuel's first job in London was at the highly regarded L'Oranger restaurant in St. James. He then moved to work with Marco Pierre White at The Criterion Piccadilly and at the Mirabelle Restaurant in Mayfair.
This valuable experience was followed by a position at Cantina Vinopolis in Borough Market and at French bistro Bleeding Heart in the City, before taking up his position as Sous Chef at The yellow house in 2008.
Samuel stepped up to take charge of the sauce section when Chef "JD" left in 2014 and he continues to serve fabulous dishes cooked with great skill and artistry.

Jaime's culinary career started with Leith's at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster before he moved to Prue Leith's highly successful Leith's restaurant in Notting Hill.
He joined Le Pont de La Tour, Sir Terence Conran's "Gastrodome" of two restaurants, a delicatessen and wine shop, when it opened in 1991 before moving to the Joe Allen & Orso Restaurants in Covent Garden. Jaime went on to work with Gail at Baker & Spice in Knightsbridge before establishing The yellow house in 2003.

James started his career in hospitality when he joined The yellow house restaurant in 2012. He progressed quickly to take charge of the bar, pouring pints and shaking up cocktails, as well as providing friendly and efficient table service.
James currently combines his position at Sammy's with his position as Assistant Manager at Park Plaza Hotel Westminster Bridge where he successfully manages a large front-of-house team.
